Since it’s announcement a month or two ago, I’ve been eagerly waiting for the Nexus One to arrive at Verizon. Now, I’m torn as to whether or not to wait for the iPhone.
I’ve had a iTouch since they came out, and it is an essential tool for my business (calendaring, billing, etc), in addition to being a book reader (Kindle AND Barnes/Noble), Google Voice/Skype device, and a bunch of other useful tools.
Basically, it is an electronic Swiss Army knife. Yesterday’s announcement about the iPad was underwhelming, so I will be holding off on the purchase of one of those until they add some key features.
My iTouch works great for email, as long as I have it connected to the Internet. Since I don’t always have my Mifi on (because as great as a product as it is, the battery lasts about an hour), I don’t have an in-pocket solution for receiving emails immediately, which has proven to be a problem.
I will be getting a phone that allows me to get my emails immediately in the very near future. Now I’m torn as to which way to go.
